Welcome

For me, the hours in late afternoon through the early evening are magical. Work is done, the light is often at its most beautiful, and we are beginning to nest for the evening before we rest. These hours are, for so many reasons, a lovely sacred time. A time to be fully present with ourselves and our loved ones.

Likewise the corresponding years of our lives seem to be full of this same sweetness and magic. There is a shedding and a curation of our physical and spiritual lives that has been in progress for some time and has left us with only the beloved and the cherished.

Life is lighter than it’s ever been. Clearer. We simultaneously give no fucks and remain full of passion. We are comfortable in our bodies. Simplicity oozes into our lives in a way that obscures its true nature which is, of course, wisdom. A wisdom about ourselves, our priorities, about life. I call it crone wisdom; a soft undeniable knowing that wraps around us like cashmere. Wisdom that is an inexplicable knowing that comes from deep within. It manifests itself in words that come easily and with a shift to making ourselves a priority. Our happiness becomes paramount. This is crone wisdom; innate, unfailing and simply beautiful.

About Crone Wisdom

Once you have the language to identify what you are feeling, there is so much clarity. Once you have the words to describe what you want, the path becomes clear. Your happiness pivots on your ability to describe and communicate. Your understanding of yourself and others is dependent on your ability to have language around your perception of your experience. The quality of relationship with yourself and others relies on your words. There is a transparency that reveals itself once you have them. They are your keys.

Language allows us to be impeccably accurate with our speech. We feel its power. We become calmer, less animated. More sure. Care less about convincing or defending. Peace settles into our souls because we know. We know our words are enough. We know ourselves. We understand others. We are no longer ruled by our emotions or those of others. We are not fooled by facades.

When we possess the language and the understanding reveals itself, we are no longer triggered. We can observe without enmeshment. We don’t move through our world reacting from a place of pain. We are in essence truly free. Free to be and love and experience. Free in the very way we came here to be.

Listen deeply.

If it resonates it’s relevant. You must be seated in and present with your body to know if it resonates or not, then you must take note.

Devotion rather than discipline. If you want it, be devoted. Discipline sets you up for being critical, shaming, judgemental and regretful. Devotion is a mindset of love and caring and compassion.
